I've been playing music since I was 6 years old, with early piano- and vocal lessons.
At the age of 10 I got my first guitar, and played folk music in a duo.
I got hooked on Clapton, who at that time played in "John Mayall and his Bluesbreakers"
Later came Jimi Hendrix - Jerry Garcia - Frank Zappa, and I got hooked on them all.
Then popped up this guitar player John McLaughlin, and I was completely wasted.
I soon found out that the best thing was to be just inspired by him.
The group "Oxygen"was formed with Poul Åge Hersland (flute). Oxygen later became a trio
with Anders Swãrd (cello) and Jørgen Nielsen (drums), inspired by "Shakti" and "Oregon"
Expanded with Anders Kortsen (sax), "Oxygen" became more jazzy.
In the 90's lots of new things happened:

"The Present Era": Harry Jokumsen - Anders Kortsen - Shashi Maharaj - various bass players.
"Second Concept": Harry Jokumsen - Troels Rasmussen - Klaus Knudsen.
